Family Fun in Stoke on Trent

The Potteries

Stoke on Trent is known as the home of the Potteries and at one point some of the biggest names in Ceramics made the home in Stoke on Trent. From Wedgwood to Moorcroft and newer companies such as Emma Bridgwater, many of the factories still operate today and have factory shops and museums for an educational trip as well as a bargain hunt.

Outdoor Fun

Close to the Staffordshire Moorlands and the Peak District National Park, Stoke is the perfect place for walking, hiking, orienteering as well as a host of outdoor pursuits. We also take a particular pride in our parks and you'll find that many have unique features such as sensory areas for young children and areas of particular wildlife interest

The Trentham estate has been part of Stoke on Trent for over 3 centuries and has been a tourist attraction under its current owners for nearly ten years. Within the grounds you'll find a lake, stunning and unique shops and some of the most beautiful gardens in the whole of Staffordshire, as well as a host of special activities such as charity events, theatre evenings, concerts and a Christmas Festival which includes an Ice Rink.

Alton Towers

Alton Towers needs no introduction. As one of the UK's largest and most beloved theme parks it welcomes over a million visitors every year. It is a mere 20 minute drive away from Tenpin Stoke and is the perfect day out before spending a night on our many lanes.
