Valley Park Retail and Leisure Complex
The park was first opened in 1992 and is built on the site of
the old Croydon "B" Power Station. Although the park now looks
significantly different, the rules of the council at the time
ordered that the landmark towers which marked Croydon B had to stay
at the park, and these now mark the site, making it visible for
miles to our thousands of daily visitors.
The park is split into two sections, which make it the perfect
visitor attraction. Of course, key among the entertainment at
Valley Park is Tenpin Croydon with 25 lanes of fun under one roof.
In addition to the family fun that is ten pin bowling, you'll also
be delighted with our host of arcade games, family entertainment
and late bar - meaning that whatever you want from your day or
night out, you'll find it at Tenpin Bowling Croydon.
For those who enjoy nothing more than a little retail therapy,
you're well catered for at Valley Park, Purley Way. As well as some
of the largest branches of DIY and furniture stores B&Q and
Ikea, there are a number of fast food restaurants nearby.
The lower end of the park is a true mecca for dedicated
followers of fashion and you'll find some of the finest outlet and
fashion boutiques in Croydon, including a huge Outfit shop which
features concessions from Burtons, Dorothy Perkins, Topshop,
Wallis, Warehouse and Miss Selfridge among others.
