Bank Holidays - the perfect time to get together with family and friends. Or is it? Because, let's face it, half the time, the weather's lousy! And just when you find an indoor alternative, it's either on severely reduced opening hours, or not open at all! Well, you can banish those Bank Holiday blues at Tenpin - and here's why.

With 3 Bank Holidays AND a coronation, May 2023 promises to be quite a month! As well as the early Bank Holiday on Monday May 1, and the spring Bank Holiday on Monday May 29, there's an extra one on Monday May 8 as part of King Charles III's coronation celebrations. While you're likely to spend some of the coronation weekend glued to the telly or maybe having a street party, you'll still have extra time on your hands. And we're sure HRH would approve if you popped down to a Tenpin centre to celebrate the big occasion with a strike or 2! Whether King Charles is a dab hand at ten pin bowling, arcades or even laser tag, we're not sure. But we're thankful he's given many of us an extra day off - and he’s sure to approve if we popped down to your local centre to have fun over his special weekend!
Open all hours (well, nearly!)
At Tenpin, we pride ourselves on our long opening hours - because, let's face it, the longer we're open, the more chances you’ll have for fun. And just because it's a Bank Holiday doesn't mean we’ve drastically cut back our times like some venues - in fact, quite the opposite. With all the May Bank Holidays to choose from, we plan to be open as normal. And even if you fancy visiting us on Coronation Day itself, Saturday May 6, be our guest! We're open then too.

All of our centres have arcade games to play on. Colourful, brash and hugely enjoyable, the kids will love them - and so will your inner kid! You won't miss that televised Bank Holiday football match either, because we have TNT and Sky Sports in our bars. And at 13 Tenpin centres, we even offer a fantastic hour of conundrums, clue-solving and clock-watching, courtesy of our gripping Houdini's Escape Rooms. Adrenaline-fuelled laser tag - available at 18 centres - is an incredible 4D experience, where you target your fellow thrill-seekers using infrared laser guns. But not only that - some of our centres offer entertaining little 'extras' such as beer pong and at Cheshire Oaks, Feltham and Star City, even a climbing wall.
