At Fountain Park in Edinburgh, you can really make a night out of your visit, with our bowling centre in Scotland’s capital city open until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
On other days, our opening times in Edinburgh are 10am until 12am.

HyperBowling in Edinburgh
Ten pin bowling has evolved, with our HyperBowling experience at Edinburgh Fountain Park! Forget everything you have ever learned about bowling technique and the need to roll the ball down the lane! Now you can rack up your best score yet by bouncing your bowling ball off the bumpers, before striking down the pins. You can also forget about aiming at certain arrows on the lane. Instead, focus your aim on your chosen coloured LED lights on the bumpers. This new way of bowling is suitable for all abilities and children in particular will find it a fun new way to bowl. There are four different games to play, so HyperBowling truly brings something different to the ten pin bowling experience. Gather a group of people and try everything that HyperBowling has to offer!
Please note, HyperBowling at Edinburgh is offered in addition to traditional ten pin bowling, so you can still play your usual game at our Fountain Park, Edinburgh venue if you prefer.
Why HyperBowling is the new craze in the UK!
HyperBowling gives those ten pin bowling players who always seem to end up in the gutter a new way to play, with the aim to bounce off the bumpers following your chosen LED lights. Basically, you can score extra points by hitting those lights, making this the perfect game for anyone who can’t bowl straight!
People of all skills and abilities, even small children, can win when HyperBowling, making this option great for young families to enjoy.
Choose from four different games, which all bring something different to the every day at your ten pin bowling centre!
With the Hypersquad game, you can multiply your fun by hitting the green bumper light to double your score, the blue to triple it and the yellow to multiply it by five before you hit the pins. The bumpers are covered more and more in your team colours the more successful you are. But watch out for your opponents, who will also try and muscle in on as much bumper space as possible!
In Hyper Bowl Pro, the LED colours move along the bumper, making it more difficult to hit your chosen colour. You also need to watch out, as hitting red means a deduction of 1,000 points from your score!
This game is best suited to groups who feel they’ve mastered HyperBowling!
